There is no public transportation. Our community is easily accessible by walking, but there are times you will prefer to drive. If you plan on driving in Canada, an international driver’s licence is required from your country of residence.
YES!! Actually you can make more money in a rural practice than an urban centre.

Canada does have forests and grizzly bears, but not where we are. We have an abundance of wide open space that is breathtakingly beautiful. Deer, moose, and coyotes are the closest thing we have to animal wildlife. You do have to watch the residents of the seniors lodge though; they can get a little wild during a game of crib :).
Yes we are connected! High speed internet, video and tele-conferencing mean an abundance of opportunities and services available for you to stay connected including cell phone coverage.
Yes! Our community is very welcoming. Recently we had a potluck dinner to meet a possible new resident. 140 people showed up for supper to meet and welcome this person to our community.
You bet! Whether you are coming for a visit or moving to Consort, we will meet you at the airport. We will even carry your luggage and help you move into your new home.
